What is confirmed

Romance is a confirmed, optional layer in The Blood of Dawnwalker. IGN’s interview with creative director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz is the direct source for three points: romance options exist, they are not required, and the partners are not named before launch.

The official Coen profile establishes the preset protagonist those choices attach to. Narrative choice that shapes Coen’s personality is not the same thing as a dating sim roster. Character-creator questions stay on the character creation page.

Marked campaign actions, including some conversations, still follow the 30-day time limit.

What is not confirmed

No approved source publishes the partner list, gender mix, exclusive flags, or the in-menu label for romance. A confirmed yes is not a walkthrough of dates.

Lock conditions, failure states, and whether a thread can be completed after the deadline remain unpublished. Preview wording about a “twist” is not a substitute for those mechanics.
