Does The Blood of Dawnwalker PC Version Use Denuvo?

Rebel Wolves said the PC version will not use Denuvo, per an MP1st report of a July 2026 Q&A. That is anti-tamper status, not a performance claim.

Answer first

Direct answer

The PC version of The Blood of Dawnwalker is reported not to use Denuvo. MP1st attributed that statement to Rebel Wolves in a July 2026 Instagram Q&A. The claim is about anti-tamper software, not about Steam versus GOG storefront DRM, and it is not a measured frame-rate result.

What is confirmed

MP1st reported a July 2026 Instagram Q&A in which Rebel Wolves said the PC version will not use Denuvo. That is the source-backed answer to the Denuvo search. The Steam store listing confirms a PC build exists; it is not itself the Denuvo statement.

This page treats that report as attributed developer commentary, not as a benchmark. Skipping Denuvo is not a promise about 60 FPS, shader compile time, or which storefronts will sell the game.

Hardware targets stay on the PC requirements page.

What is not confirmed

No official Bandai Namco news post in the approved catalog repeats the Denuvo sentence in first-party wording. The available confirmation is the MP1st report of the Q&A.

The report does not settle GOG, Epic, or console anti-tamper tools. It also does not prove that a later patch cannot add a different protection system. Until a first-party PC FAQ replaces it, the honest status is “reported no Denuvo,” not “Denuvo can never appear.”
